Shawnee State University and its teachers have a new contract.
A teacher's union spokesman tells us they came to a tentative agreement with management Thursday evening.
According to the University's website, the new contract increases the faculty's share of health care costs and provides for salary increases.
The contract still must be approved by the Shawnee State Board of Trustees and the faculty union membership.
