New 3rd Avenue Businesses

Dr. Joseph Touma made some announcements today that will forever change the landscape across from Pullman Square. Dr. Touma announced that three stores will soon open right across the street from Pullman Square on Third Avenue.

The Marshall University Community and Technical College will open a cooking and culinary institute. The institute will give culinary arts students a chance to practice their skills for the public throught a number of cooking classes.

The other new business opening soon is a brand new retail store called Le Cook Store. The shop will open next door to the cooking institute. Store owner Shawn Bresnahan says the store will offer pots, dishes, wines and fine chocolates among other things.

Dr. Touma also announced today that Reuschlein's will move from their Fourth Avenue location and relocate across from Pullman Square.

The businesses are still a few weeks away from opening.
