UPDATE 9/19/06: Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Angel Evans while she was walking down Virginia Street in Charleston Monday. A magistrate released Evans on a personal recognisance bond.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2006--If you hang around people who break the law... you could also be responsible for their actions. That's the law in West Virginia. Now, deputies need your help to find a woman they say helped terrorize a homeowner in St. Albans.
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has named Angel Evans one of Charleston's Most Wanted. She's charged with being an accessory to Charles Lee Evans, a former most wanted. He was arrested last week.
Deputies say both of them threw bricks into a house on Cane Fork Lane in St. Albans--and also kicked in the front door. The criminal complaint says they threatened and yelled at the victim.
"Breaking into someone's house is serious under any conditions," said Lt Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department. "Even though you're not the person inside the house, if you're there in a support measure, you can still be guilty of a crime."
Angel Evans is 28 years old. Her last known address is on Fairview Drive in St. Albans. Contact the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department at (304) 357-0169 if have any information about her.
