Nitro Council Controversy

Councilmember Bill Clark alleges that Councilman Harrison used his name when he sent explicit pictures of himself to a young woman, he was chatting with on the internet. That woman just happens to live in the community.

According to transcripts from a graphic chat room conversation, Harrison used the screen name home builder- A-1, Bill Clark’s company is called A-1 Refrigeration.

This is not the first time- this first term councilman has been in the spotlight! Just one year ago, a video camera caught Harrison lashing out after a city council meeting. At that time Tim Harrison spoke to us about the situation, “It's all ridiculous. It's all nonsense people need to realize if they want to be in the city, they need to work with us, not against us it would be a much happier situation.”

WSAZ tried several different times and ways to contact Tim Harrison, but we weren't able to reach him. Another important note: those pictures were sent to adults, not children.

Harrison has not turned in a formal letter of resignation to the city of Nitro, but Mayor Rusty Casto believes it's coming. Nitro city council meets next Tuesday.
