BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Deputies made a dent in the out of state drug trade Sunday.
The Boyd County Dheriff's Department says it caught Jim Clapper during a search of a house in Ashland. He's from Pompano Beach, Florida.
Deputies say he had Oxycodone, Xanax, cash, money transfers, and a lot of prescription bottles from Florida pain clinics. They also found pain pills prescribed from a Kentucky doctor.

to WOW WE Its seems like you and others our mad at me. to tell you the truth if more people would speak up about our laws and see what going on. you and other people would see.NO IM' NOT A DRUG DEALER OR ANY THINGS LIKE THAT.i speak concerning the fact that our DEA and org. should be checked out first and see what dirt and garbage are in it. and get the FBI or the IA.to do an Investagation on our cities and states Im trying to tell you guys to wake up. do this first and then you will see the drugs stoped and then you can rejoyce IM not against you guys. what the court should do is not to put these guys behind bars but let them see what drugs do to others. and send them to a place where they can get help and if not give them time. they are sombodys sons and daughters to. there parent love them to. they probly did not raise them like that. I would like to think so. I would like to see people come together and be neighbors again wouldnt you. n/a

TO THE ONES WHO COMMENT ABOUT SAYING LEAVE THE DRUG ADDICTS AND DEALERS ALONE.. IF YOU WANT TO SIT AT HOME AND DO WHAT YOU WANT IS ONE THING. WHEN YOU GO AND AFFECT SOMEONE OR SOMEONES FAMILIES IS ANOTHER. WHEN YOU BREAK THE LAW TO GET YOUR DRUGS IS THE LAW ENFORCEMENTS ISSUE THEN. YOU WILL GET BUSTED. WHAT DONT ALL OF YOU DRUG DEALERS UNDERSTAND. YOU WILL BE RATTED ON ONE DAY EVENTUALLY. DONT THINK YOU WONT BECAUSE YOU WILL AND I HOPE YOU DO AS WELL. I DONT PITY YOU WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT. GET A LIFE AND GO GET HELP AND HAVE A BETTER LIFE. YOU MAY JUST LIVE LONGER AND BE A PRODUCTFUL CITIZEN OF SOCIETY AND NOT JUST LAY AROUND AND LIVE OFF THE WELFARE SYSTEM LIKE MOST DO TODAY. GET A JOB AND QUIT DEPENDING ON OTHER PEOPLE TO DO THE WORK FOR YOU. THERE IS NOTHING IN DRUGS FOR YOU BUT PROBLEMS. IF YOU LIKE THE DRUGS, DONT GET ON HERE AND SUPPORT IT. THERE IS KIDS WHO READ THESE POSTS TODAY WHO MAY DECIDE TO DO WHAT YOU THINK IS OKAY TO DO. SUPPORT DRUG TREATMENT....

to n/a feb 24,2009 6:29pm.... First off its Boyd County not boyld co. What does the jail have to do with anything first off. And second, you have absolutely no clue what your talking about. If you know so much about these agencies, then report it to someone then. You appear to be someone who just wants to get an uproar over something you have no clue about. The sheriffs dept and the jail are two seperate agencies. The incident at the jail has been handled in Federal Court and someone was convicted over it. The punishment was administered. The story is over there. You may want to check your skeletons in your closet before you go bashing someone else. And for these pill runners, I hope they catch everyone of them. For everyone they catch, someone has to be affected by it. Im referring to the drug users or dealers that are affected. If the dealers would realize how much they are hurting innocent families over there greed maybe things would change. It will never change it appears..
