CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It's a power bailout plan that could turn record crowds at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
The West Virginia Power released its 2009 promotional schedule Wednesday "with an eye toward creating their own stimulus plan built on affordability."
Some of the highlights include a Dancing Outlaw Jesco White bobblehead giveaway, bobbleheads for President Barack Obama, former WVU quarterback Pat White and a figurine of Senator Robert C. Byrd. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are expected to appear one night. The list also promotes appearances this year by "Mr. Belding" from "Saved By the Bell" and Mr. T.
The organization is also getting in to the Barbie game, featuring a night in which you can get in free for a donation of a doll, Barbie or another variety. West Virginia has been in the headlines this year, because a lawmaker proposed banning Barbie from the state.
The popular Two for Tuesdays and Buck Nights will also be part of the season.
Executive Vice President Andy Milovich calls it the greatest promotional schedule the organization has put together in its five year history in Charleston.
Opening day is set for April 9.
