Principal Knocked Unconscious

The principal of Williamson Middle School is recovering Thursday after being knocked unconscious by a female student.

Principal Raymond David Clagg had to be transported to the emergency room where he was treated for his injuries.

The girl was questioned by police and later arraigned in Magistrate Court on a malicious wounding charge.

No word on what caused the confrontation.
