UPDATE 9/27/06: The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department reports that the charges against Jeremy Lee Camp are now taken care of and he's no longer wanted.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2006 -- He's accused of not paying thousands in child support and trying to avoid the law. Now, deputies say he's on the run and they need your help to find him.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has named Jeremy Lee Camp one of Charleston's Most Wanted. Records show he didn't show up for a court hearing in Putnam County. Camp is charged with failure to pay child support. Police say he owes more than $6,300. They want him to pay up or get locked up.

"It seems that we're seeing more and more cases of deadbeat parents, or those types of people who have failed to pay their child support," said Lt. Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department. "We want to send a message to them, and the others, that if they don't take care of their financial obligations, that the police will come get them."

Jeremy Lee Camp is 26 years old. His last known address is on Gaylor Lane--that's between Cross Lanes and Sissonville. He also has an address listed on E Street in South Charleston.

Call the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department at (304) 357-0169 if you have any information about Camp.
