UPDATE: Water Restored In Ashland, KY

BOYD COUNTY, KY (WSAZ) -- Workers at The Ashland Water Works Department say all water leaks have been fixed and everyone's water is now back on.

The final leak on Roberts Drive was fixed around 9 p.m. Sunday.

A boil water advisory is still in effect for everyone living along or near the following areas:

-Roberts Road
-Hicks Road
-ACTC
-Summitt Elementary and Middle Schools
-Southland Bible Institute
-The Federal Corrections Institute
-Crisps Dairy Treat

The boil water advisory will be in effect until at least Tuesday, that's when test results on the safety of the water should be back.

BOYD COUNTY, KY (WSAZ)- Hundreds of people in Ashland, Kentucky don't have water.

City work crews are trying to repair a break in the lines.

One of the breaks is on Roberts Drive the other is along 716.

To fix the problem workers had to shut off water to customers.

A spokesperson with the city water department says she expects the water to be back on Sunday night, but customers will need to boil it.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect for everyone living along or near the following areas:

-Roberts Road
-Hicks Road
-ACTC
-Summitt Elementary and Middle Schools
-Southland Bible Institute
-The Federal Corrections Institute
-Crisps Dairy Treat
