Child Abuse

A painful story of child abuse. Most mom's of a new baby may be now are preparing for an afternoon feeding, up to their ears in diapers and toys, staring into the eyes of a their child in amazement.

But Bridget Lee Hunter, of Point Pleasant isn't doing any of that: she spent time in jail. The 22 year old mom, and her boyfriend, Michael David Patterson are charged with abuse. Their 2 month old, Sativa Patterson, is fighting for her life.
Now Bridget wants people to know: the cycle of abuse: can be vicious: and her heart aches. She says her boyfriend hit on her. "He wouldn't let me take her nowhere. I couldn't leave with her, I couldn't say nothing to no one else, I couldn't call no one. I couldn't do nothing."

Bridget is now out of jail on bond. Her boyfriend, Michael is still in jail.
