Errant Text Message to Prosecutor Leads to Drug Bust
A West Virginia woman who thought she was offering a friend drugs mistakenly sent the text message to a prosecutor.

SUTTON, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia woman who thought she was offering a friend drugs mistakenly sent the text message to a prosecutor.
State Police arrested 23-year-old Anna Green and 24-year-old Michael Cowger on Wednesday after Webster County Prosecutor Dwayne Vandevender arranged a meeting to buy six hydrocodone pills for $8 apiece.
Vandevender said he recognized the message "Are you looking" as a phrase drug dealers use.
Cpl. A. J. Shingler said Thursday he asked Green if she knew who she had messaged, and she replied, "I thought I did."
Vandevender said Green had misdialed the last digit when entering the friend's phone number into her address book.
The two Braxton County residents were in the Central Regional Jail, charged with intent to distribute and conspiracy. They have not secured attorneys.
