Veterans Memorial Will Be Fixed

It could cost nearly $350,000 to fix, but the state will repair the typos on the state's veterans memorial.
900 soldiers and sailors killed were left off the memorial's black granite panels. Nearly 150 are misspelled, others have the last name before the first.
The Capitol Building Commission voted yesterday to start accepting bids for the project.
State Archives and History Director says the mistakes are embarrassing and need to be fixed.
