Ballots Challenged Won't Change Election

Early voting starts Wednesday in West Virginia, but the ballot for Kanawha County will not change before the upcoming election.

The Board of Ballot Commissioners met Tuesday to discuss a complaint filed by former state senate candidate Thornton Cooper. Cooper says R-E-P is confusing and voters might think it stands for Representative instead of Republican. But the board believes that argument insults the intelligence of voters and it won't change the ballot.
