The Cabell County Board of Education met Tuesday night and one of the big issues: the continued discussion of a proposed drug testing policy.
The saliva and urine tests are proposed for students involved in extracurricular activities and those who faculty have reasonable suspicion of being under the influence.
Board members looked at the legal issues involved in implementing such a policy.
Superintendent Bill Smith said there will be several more discussions on the drug testing policy before anything is decided.
However, he did say it's more than likely a case of when and not if.
