Teachers in Kanawha County could soon be tested for drug use.
The topic came up at Thursday night's school board meeting.
The teacher's union spoke out at the meeting and called the proposal an invasion of privacy.
All of this stems from the recent arrest of Pratt Elementary Principal, David Anderson, who police say was caught with cocaine.
The board plans to have a revised drug use policy ready by February. Board members will also do more research on drug testing and examine how other districts handle the matter.
