West Virginia’s mining industry has suffered another blow. It happened in Preston County at the White Tail Mine.
A spokeswoman for the Office of Miners Health Safety and Training says the miner died when a roof or a wall caved in. An investigation is underway.
A copmany spokesperson says the miner was 49 years old. He'd been working at the White Tail Mine for eleven years, and been in the business for 25.
Kingwood Mining company says the company will not release the victims name.
