CAMPBELLS CREEK, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman has been charged in the murder of her mother.
The criminal complaint states Marlo Denny and her mother, Nancy McGraw, were arguing Thursday night in a home on Springfork Drive off Campbells Creek Drive in eastern Kanawha County.
According to the criminal complaint McGraw had come after Denny with a knife, and Denny then repeatedly hit McGraw in the head and neck area, knocking her to the floor. Police say Denny told them that she stomped on her mother's head and put her foot on her neck until she stopped moving--all to protect herself. Neighbors told WSAZ.com that McGraw suffered from Alzheimer's.
Paramedics performed CPR on McGraw, but she pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.
Denny was arraigned Friday afternoon on murder charges in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
She was taken to the South Central Regional Jail.

It's such a waste of everyones' time. It's evident that this woman is evil, not crazy. She killed her Mother! May God have mercy on her soul.
Well, we all know Nancy is in heaven now..Maybe Marlo is off the alcohol and drugs after locked up for a month almost. Maybe Jerry and boys can live their life now happy!! Prayers for the family.
I know Marlo and her family, Nancy always would take Marlo and whatever she brought along in to help Marlo out, time after time. People who really know Marlo know that something like this was going to happen, due to the excessive drug and alcohol problem that Marlo has had, we aren't talking months we are talking years!! AND THAT'S A FACT!!!! Anyone who know's Marlo personally, know's she has a temper that's out of this world. People want to say she should of reached out for help, you truely do not know Marlo Denny, If the cops do there jobs and look in all the places and states where Marlo lived and talk to those people then they will see and know a truely darker side of Marlo. Marlo if you read this and I hope you do, I only hope you spend the rest of your life behind bars, not a death sentence, cause that would make your life to easy, and you need to pay of this!!!!!May you ROT in perison!! Now Jerry Lee and the boys can have a better life,WITHOUT YOU!!!!!!!!!!
