A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a Sissonville home. Fire Chief Tom Johnson says not one of the houses walls were standing when he got there.
It happened along Tuppers Creek Road about four this morning.
Johnson also says when his crews arrived neighbors didn't even seem to notice the house was on fire.
The fire marshal will take a closer look at the fire. A cause hasn't been determined just yet.
Johnson describes the home as "partially" abandoned. The man who lives there sometimes was not there when the flames started shooting from the house.
