West Virginia's Attorney General is cracking down on internet payday lenders.

So far, Attorney General Darrell McGraw has shut down 18 lenders.

He's also suing 14 others to get them to stop giving loans to West Virginians.

The attorney general says the lenders are charging thousands in illegal fees and charges to West Virginia customers.

Payday loans are short term loans or cash advances on your paycheck.
