Hostage Suspect Arraigned (6pm vids)
NOVEMBER 15, 2006 -- The suspect behind Tuesday's armed robbery and hostage situation in Logan County was arraigned Wednesday.
Police say Jeff Harvey held 6 people hostage while he robbed the the Family Discount Pharmacy in Stollings.
Thursday, Harvey was still in his hospital gown when he stood before a magistrate. He also had a huge cut on his head where one of the hostages hit him on the head while trying to escape.
Harvey is officially charged with:
- 6 counts of holding hostage
- 4 counts of wanton endangerment
- 1 count of armed robbery
For the six counts of holding hostage, Harvey can face a life sentence for each charge, if convicted.
Nobody except Harvey was hurt in the incident.
