Marshall University plans to unveil signs for the new Frank "Gunner" Gatski Memorial Bridge in Huntington this Saturday during the Marshall-UTEP football game.
The bridge used to be known as the East Huntington Bridge. It connects the city to Proctorville, Ohio.
Gatski passed away in 2005. His family will be on hand Saturday for the unveiling.
Gatski played for the Thundering Herd from 1940 to 1942. He went on to a Hall of Fame career in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.
