Kentucky School Money

A former Johnson County school employee is facing 26 felony charges for allegedly giving the school's money to her son while he was in jail. A Johnson County grand jury indicted Peggy Vanhoose.
She worked for the Johnson County school system for 33 years.
The grand jury charged that she issued bi-monthly checks to her son Mchael Vnhoose, totaling at least $12,000.
The checks ranged from about $450 to a little more than $500. She retired as district treasurer in August 2005, then returned as finance director until March, when she was fired.
