School isn't in session in Cabell County because of the Thanksgiving break, but the basketball team at Enslow Middle school isn't taking a day off.
The players are eagerly working toward the first day of the season next week.
And now they are going to get a generous donation to make that opening day very special.
Steve and Barry's Sporting Goods is giving every team member a brand new pair of shoes.
Many of the parents couldn't afford the cost of a new pair of shoes and the coach, Justin Marshall Berry, really wanted the guys to look like a team.
Each of them has a new pair of Starbury Ones.
It's the same shoe Stephan Marbury wears playing for the New York Knicks of the NBA.
