ASHLAND, KY (WSAZ) -- Several thousand people in the Ashland area have no or little water Tuesday morning.

A Water Department spokesperson tells WSAZ.com that a bypass valve broke in 39-hundred block of Winchester Avenue. This is also US 23.

Customers in the immediate area of the break have no water.

Crews have also been forced to reduce water pressure in other parts of the city so the repairs can be made.
