There has to be some good deals to get folks out early, the day after Thanksgiving.

Not only long lines Friday morning, but traffic getting to and from the stores.

Along Corridor G in Charleston, shoppers were slightly delayed because of all the traffic.

Virtually every retailer opened earlier than usual.

Among the hottest spots, electronics stores.

So why would anyone get out early to shop?

Stacy Lambert said "I was trying to save money, getting up at 3:30 in the morning. Show up here at five o'clock, made it out of here at six. I don't know how we did it."

Shanna Hall said, "It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, but it was pretty rough. This is the first time I went on Black Friday. It wasn't that bad."

Some of you actually got online to avoid one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
