This may not be the real North Pole, but it's as real as it gets for some Lincoln County kids who would otherwise not have a Merry Christmas.
Sue Burton is a volunteer from West Hamlin: "You don't realize the kids, especially Lincoln County, they can't afford very much for Christmas, their parents can't and I think this is a wonderful thing because for a lot of kids, this may be the only Christmas they get."
These gifts will bring joy to about 150 underprivlaged kids. Bobby Stump and his friends started the program four years ago to brighten the holidays for low income families in Lincoln County. Wrapping the gifts is the easy part. It took a lot of fundraisers to get enough gifts to put under the tree, but Stump say the work was well worth it and he hopes to help more kids next year.
"My theory is the more money I get, the more kids we can serve."
