Interstate 64 has reopened after part of it was closed for nearly an hour on Sunday evening. Both the eastbound and westbound lanes were shut down between the 29th Street and Hal Greer exits.
Dispatchers tell us that hay from a truck spilled, causing other cars to catch fire when hay went into the engine and caught fire.
They tell us the fires are out and crews have finished cleaning up the area.
Again, both the eastbound and the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 have reopened.
