Reports of a possible plane crash near Athalia in Ohio caused emergency crews to search the area yesterday.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Lawrence County Dispatch 911 received a call at around 6 p.m. on Saturday about a possible small plane crash just off of State Route 217.
Helicopter crews searched and could not confirm the reports.
As of Saturday night, the search was called off.
