Former Drug Investigator Pleads Guilty

A drug investigator pleads guilty to theft charges.
Louie Podunavec Junior admitted in federal court at Ashland, Kentucky, Tuesday that he stole more than $180,000 from his Kentucky State Police post, over a four year period.
Podunavec had been the head of narcotics investigations for Boyd, Carter, Greenup and Lawrence County from 1995 until his retirement in July.
Some of the money in the account came from federal sources, which led to the involvement of the U.S. Attorneys office.
