Pitbull Attacks Girl
It happened Tuesday in Scioto County. Gabrielle attends Northwest Elementary. When Gabrielle was getting off the school bus, a pitbull attacked her and her grandmother.
The girl's bus driver, Steve Martin, quickly jumped in to save the two.
After the attack the girl's grandfather shot and killed the dog.
A Scioto county humane officer says the pitbull's owners, Gary and Michell Clifford, face animal cruelty charges; for not providing food for the dog and not properly containing the dog.
They could face up to $1,000 fine and up to six months in jail.
