A barge worker is hospitalized after an accident Monday morning near South Point, Ohio.
Emergency workers have not released the name of the man who was treated by EMS crews at the scene and then flown by helicopter to a local hospital.
It happened at Superior Marine, a company located along the Ohio River, just outside the South Point city limits.
Captain John Whitley, Burlington Fire Department, said, "A subject was briefly pinned between two barges. We didn't have to do any extrication. He was pulled out before we got here by workers."
The injured workers was taken by helicopter to the hospital.
His name wasn't released by authorities.
