Funerals this Week for Three Teens Killed in Athens County Crash
Funeral services are set for Monday and Tuesday for three Alexander High School students who died in a single vehicle accident last last week.

ALBANY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Funeral services are set for Monday and Tuesday for three Alexander High School students who died in a single vehicle accident last last week.

It happened Thursday afternoon on County Road 14 in Athens County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the vehicle went off the road northbound on CR 14 shortly before 4 p.m. and hit a tree. All three teens were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 16-year-old Adam Jolley, 17-year-old Adam Fitzgerald and 17-year-old Christopher (Nathan) Coe all died in the crash, according to OSHP. Police say two of the three boys were wearing seat belts.

The Athens Post of the OHP is investigating the cause of the accident.

FUNERAL INFORMATION

  • Nathan Coe: Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Christ Community Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Del Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in School Lot Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m. at Christ Community Wesleyan Church.
  • Adam Jolley: Funeral service will be conducted Monday 10:00 a.m. at the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church, Chestnut St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Mike Thomas and Pastor Andy Stine officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens
  • Adam Fitzgerald: Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Christ Community Wesleyan Church with Pastor Del Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in School Lot Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m. at Christ Community Wesleyan Church.
