A man was killed Wednesday night when he was crushed by a construction roller.
Police say construction worker John O'Dell was one of a group of workers using heavy equipment when the soil gave way and the roller overturned, landing on O'Dell.
He was working at Island Estates, a Barboursville subdivision, when the accident happened.
O'Dell was 43-years-old.
