HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Some folks will celebrate their freedom on Independence Day by exercising their right to free speech.
Saturday, Ritter Park in Huntington will host a Tea Party rally from noon until 3 p.m. The rally will focus on resisting big government spending and defending the Constitution, according to organizers.
There will also be a statewide Tea Party rally from noon until 2 p.m. in Kentucky. It'll be on the steps of the Kentucky capitol building in Frankfort.
Tea stands for "taxed enough already." There will be music, speakers and an open microphone for people to voice their opinions.

I'm opposed to an increase in my taxes. That's why I voted against McCain and his proposal to tax my health care benefits as ordinary income. Would I fit in at this rally?
I am sure many who support this rally are also the first in line for a government handout. Neither the Democrats or Republicans care about the average citizen. The Hell with both parties and all politicians. You talk about a tea party how about a second revolution to shake things up.
to seeker you are an idiot where do you get your facts from? when bush won his first and second term the left whined constantly. Concerned citizens are throwing these tea parties because obama has already spent more money than bush did in 8 years of office. By the way enjoy the cap and trade bill that will probably become law and drive our energy costs through the roof
