HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Some people in Huntington spent their July Fourth exercising their First Amendment Rights
A group of demonstrators hit up Ritter Park for an afternoon TEA Party, but it’s not the kind you drink.
TEA stands for "Taxed Enough Already."
It’s part of a national movement to bring attention to big government spending.
Organizers say it’s not the size of the party that matters, it’s all about the message.
“You know when we have these whether its 50 people or 50-thousand that come out it’s a getting the word out- and the tea parties are just a way for like-minded people to get together and talk about what they can do to affect real change,” said Jackie Courts.
In Kentucky, demonstrators gathered on the steps of the state Capitol to send the same message, holding their own TEA Party.
Similar rallies were held in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky back in April.

Don't you guys get it yet? Obama does not care about our country as you can see is helping the enemy like closing Gitmo given constitucional rigts to enemy combatans. Obama want us to fail on every way so he is able to nationalize every bussines in this country including the healtcar system which is one of the best in the world wake up America this president hates America.
We were at the TEA party. Just wish there was more coverage. The group included people from all parties and all walks of life. But we all agree that the president is borrowing and spending TOO much and it will mean INCREASED taxes. The house passed the Cap & Trade and most didn't even have the time to read the 1,500 page document. How do they know what they agreed to? THEY don't!
After this guy purposely destroys our country, the people that voted for him will still blame bush. Obama has the perfect set up to destroy and then rebuild as a socialist country like all democrats truly yurn for. The complete control of the country will be in the hands of politicians. Be careful what you vote for.
