Police Investigate Armed Robberies
It all started on Tuesday morning at the Community Trust Bank in Ft. Gay, WV, followed by a second robbery early Wednesday morning at the Quality Inn Motel in Ashland, KY. That suspect had a gun. Shortly after noon The Movie Gallery in Catlettsburg was robbed followed by the New Earth Resource, a retail store in Huntington a short time later.
Police say it's not uncommon for the number of robberies to increase after during and after the holidays. Police have not connected any of these robberies, and say they may not be connected.
