CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas says a man wanted in connection with the disposal of a body alongside Interstate 64 near Milton is now under arrest.

Erick Deickman will be charged with the felony concealment of a body, after deputies say he disposed of his roomate, Andrew Mulvany Jr., in a trash can in April.

Deickman and Mulvany apparently had no ties to West Virginia.

McComas says police pulled over a vehicle belonging to Deickman in Bardstown, Kentucky after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The sheriff says Deickman's girlfriend, Fawn Bishop, was driving the vehicle and led police to her apartment where they found Deickman in a bedroom.

He is currently being held in the Nelson County Detention Center.

Deputies are heading to Bardstown this evening to talk with Deickman. They will start the process to extradite him to West Virginia.

The body of Andrew Mulvany Jr., who last lived in North Carolina, was found off 64 in April.

In June, deputies announced they were looking for Deickman to charge him with the felony concealment of a deceased body.

Ruth, that "old drunk man in a garbage can" had a family who loved him very much. His life was worth no less than the "beautiful young college student".
