A boil advisory that was issued December 29th has been lifted for drinking water in parts of Kanawha County.

West Virginia American Water customers in Kelly Hill and Cobb Station along Route Four no longer have to boil their water before using it.

The advisory was issued after water levels dipped in response to several fires that broke out in the Clendenin area Friday, destroying a Dollar General store.

Police arrested and charged Roane County High School student Tiara Spencer, 18, with with two counts of first degree arson in relation to the fires.
