Three Sentenced for their Roles in Charleston Bank Robbery
Three people convicted of helping rob a Charleston credit union were all sentenced to one to five years in prison Tuesday.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three people convicted of helping to rob a Charleston credit union learned today how they will pay for the crime.
Charlene Bowman, Latisha Dorsey and Shearney McKeller were all sentenced to one to five years in prison.
All three pleaded guilty to helping Shawn Elmore rob the State Credit Union in Charleston in August of 2008.
Dorsey and McKeller helped plan the robbery, while Bowman drove the getaway car.
Elmore pleaded guilty on Monday to bank robbery. He will be sentenced August 25th.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who admitted to robbing a bank in Charleston will learn his fate next month.
Shawn Elmore pleaded guilty Monday to bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Elmore entered the plea just before his trial was supposed to get underway Monday morning.
The robbery happened in August 2008. Police say Elmore walked into the State Credit Union, handed the teller a note and demanded money.
Three other people have pleaded guilty in the case. According to a court spokesperson Latisha Dorsey, Charlene Bowman and Shearney McKeller will be sentenced Tuesday on the charges. The sentencing hearing is set for 4:00 p.m.
Elmore will be sentenced on August 25.
