Legislators were told renovations at the West Virginia's Capitol Complex could cost more than $72-million dollars.
Overhauling the Building 3, also known as the DMV Building is expected to cost $35-million.
That's the building where a temporary generator used to heat it caught fire last year.
It's expected to cost another $2-million to replace the cafeteria in the basement of the Capitol.
The second phase will be renovating Buildings 5,6 and 7 and that could cost another $35-million.
