When it comes to serving our country, West Virginians always answer the call in huge numbers.

The state has the largest per capita population of veterans in America.

On Tuesday, local veterans will discuss future generations.

They're looking into what needs to be done to make sure veterans get the care they need.

Harry Walters, Veterans' Commission President, said, "This is a process. This is a thinking process. It's a huge agency of government. It's a big monster. We have to be very thoughtful and creative."

The meeting is sponsored by the commission on the future for America's veterans.

The commission is traveling to 18 states to talk with veterans about benefits and services and Charleston is their first stop.

The commission wants your help in finding a plan to present to Congress in 2008.

The town meeting is set for Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in the House Chambers of the State Capitol in Charleston.

The Governor, Senator Jay Rockefeller and United Mine Workers President Cecil Roberts are just a few that will be there.
