ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police in St. Albans are asking for your help to catch a woman they say used a stolen credit card to buy hundreds of dollars in merchandise.
It happened at about 7 p.m. on July 26.
Officers say someone busted out the window of a car that was parked at Dwight's Restaurant and stole a purse that was inside.
Then, within an hour, the victim's credit card was used at two different stores: the Go-Mart on Spruce Street in St. Albans and the Nitro Wal-Mart. The surveillance pictures show the woman police say used the stolen credit card.
In all, about $280 was spent using the credit card.
Police say the suspect might have left in a gray Ford Taurus.
Anyone with information that can help police identify and/or catch this woman is asked to contact Patrolman M.A. Gilbert with the St. Albans Police Department at (304) 727-2251.

My Fiance and I eat at Dwights often we do love the food...whether the person left the credit card in the car or had the card on them,no one has the right to steal and I do hope this woman gets caught.
whether the credit card is signed or not doesn't mean a whole lot if they slide it them self. like at a gas station and other dept. stores. I use to be a cashier and a lot op people slide it them self. and yes i just slide mine also
I dont like signing the back of my credit cards. I think clerks should have to ask for ID when taking a credit card. I sometimes write "ask for ID" on the back of my cards..
