January 23, 2007 – It’s taken a while, and there have been a few obstacles along the way. But tonight in Mason County, a community got an official look at their newly renovated high school.
Getting to this point has been a challenge for Wahama Junior-Senior High School. First, there were years of talks on whether to consolidate or renovate. Then, this year - a delay on the first day of school. As one member of the community says, “These last couple of years have really been something to go through, it was hectic.”
But now, teachers, students and parents feel that their patience has paid off – and the renovations have been well worth the wait!
