Jack Whittaker's corperation is suing City National Bank, claiming they were negligent in cashing 12 checks.
Whittaker claims bank tellers failed to check for proper ID from the individuals that cashed the checks, totaling more than $49-thousand.
The checks were cashed on September 8, 10 and 11, 2006 at branches in Kentucky and West Virginia.
A letter for evidence attached to the lawsuit states the corporation notified the bank about the checks on September 13, claiming they were bogus.
City National filed a complaint in court last week, asking a judge declare they are not responsible for the checks that were cashed.
