High School Athletes Could Face Drug Testing

A bill has been introduced into the State Senate to test high school athletes for steroids.

The bill states 500 athletes who make it to the championship rounds, would be randomly selected.

The bill is modeled after a law passed in New Jersey, which is the only state testing high school athletes.

Logan County is the only school system in West Virginia that is currently testing its athletes for drugs.
