Crews are trying to work quickly to retrieve personal items from the Emmons Junior Apartment building in Huntington.
It's because the building's condition is getting even worse in the aftermath of that huge fire of two weeks ago.
Nine people died in this fire.
Some parts of the building can't be accessed through stairways because those areas collapsed.
So crews are using cranes to lift workers up into the building.
They are trying to reach anything that can be saved for the former tenants.
It's a race against time since parts of the building are exposed to the weather.
Tenants are not allowed to go into the building themselves, but they are working with the building owners to retrieve special items.
