Copper Stolen from Ritter Park Fountain

Thieves stole more than a thousand dollars worth of copper from the fountain at Ritter Park.

Now Huntington police want to know who took it and if anyone saw the suspects.

Police say a park employee noticed on Thursday, January 19th that someone cut copper piping and valves from the fountain. One of the copper pipes is fourty feet long. Two other pipes are thirty feet long.

Police think the crime happened sometime between eight thirty and nine Thursday morning at the fountain.

If you saw anything suspicious going on at the Ritter Park fountain during that time Huntington poilce ask that you give them a call.
