It's going to be a cold one if you're heading outdoors this weekend.
Gloves, a hat and a warm coat are crucial.
Mountain Mission in Charleston is making sure people in the city have the clothes to bundle-up.
On Thursday, it handed out free coats to the less fortunate, including some area school children.
The agency's director says "Free Coat Day" is a great way to help people in need, even after the holidays.
John Roberts of Mountain Mission said, "There are many people who can't afford to go out and purchase retail clothing. This gives them an opportunity to come in and buy something to supply for their family that they couldn't in many other cases."
Mountain Mission had about 200 coats to giveaway Thursday.
You can contact mountain mission on Charleston's west side if you didn't get a chance to pick one up.
