Davis is charged with 64 counts of desecrating a cemetery, 1 count of petit larceny, and 1 count of placing injurious material in the roadway.

ORIGINAL STORY
POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Vandals have targeted Suncrest Cemetery, toppling or destroying more than 100 headstones.

Just about everywhere you look throughout the cemetery in Point Pleasant, you'll find a desecrated gravesite, and police need your help to catch the culprit.

Phyllis Mayes of Point Pleasant said a total of 105 monuments have been toppled over or broken apart by vandals.

"I don't think anything like this has happened in Point Pleasant ever before," she said Wednesday. "We need a cemetery neighborhood watch group."

Police said they have a pretty good idea about who could be responsible and actually have a warrant for one arrest. They're relying on public input, however, before making an arrest.

If you have any information about this crime, you're asked to give the Point Pleasant Police Department a call at 304-675-1104.

This a 25 year old man, not a kid. He surely knows right from wrong. What I do not understand is what kind of "joy" do you get from doing something this stupid. I think when your as old as he is it is time to stop blaming the parents. I would like to see him have to work at put each and every stone back and paying for the damaged ones, make him dig a few graves and mow the place. Maybe then he would begin to get an idea of what he did is wrong. But I seriously doubt it. Look at him. He does not have a clue.
