Coming into this weekend, "We Are Marshall", the movie about the plane crash that killed much of the Marshall football team in 1970, had made $42,438,000. It currently ranks 19 out of the top 20 grossing movies in the country.
However, the daily take for the movie is slowing down. The website showbizdata.com shows WAM collected $50,000 Thursday while showing on fewer than 1000 screens across the country.
"We Are Marshall" came out in the movie theaters in late 2006.
The DVD website videoeta.com predicts the movie will be released on DVD in September this year, although Warner Bros. has not released an official date for a DVD debut.
